Minutes of the Special Meeting of the President Pro - Tem and Board of Trustees of the Village of Stanford, held at the First Christian Church, 200 S. Grant, Stanford at 5:00pm.

1.  ROLL CALL: Present: 5 - President Pro - Tem Eric Geurts, Trustees Johnalee Awles, Natasha Owen, Nydra Owen and Rowana Robles.

Absent: 1 - Trustee Ben Chase and Clerk Streenz.

Also present: Chief Ed Moser and the Board of the First Christian Church as follows: Darrell Shields, Judy Smith, Carol Lartz, Gloria Beanblossom, John Beanblossom, Jim Sharp, Pastor Dave Jassman and Church Treasurer Carrie Jassman.

2.  NEW BUSINESS: 

Due to the present condition of the Police Department’s building located on Armstrong Street, the department has been looking into other options for housing. The Board of Trustees met with the Church’s Board of Trustees and the following was discussed:

When would the Village like to start using the south wing of the church and how long would the department be housed there; some minimal reconstruction to the office area, heat and air for the separate office, rent and utility billing, integrity of the church, guns in the church, Sunday mornings at the church and other viable options for the police department. 

3. MOTION TO ADJOURN @ 5:33PM 

 There was no further business to discuss, Trustee Nydra Owen moved, seconded by Trustee Natasha Owen to adjourn. Motion carried.
